With sire Lars Irco G, LarChin Gii has 4
generations direct line being international jumpers. This is
top-class jumping pedigree, as mother Chin Chit G also is full
sister to Chouman, with whom Nelson Pessoa was
5th in WEG in Hague in 1994. Chin Chit G's sire is
Irco Marco, international jumper and leading sire, and her Irish tb
dam Adventuress jumped 1.60 classes in Sweden. LarChin Gii is an
impressive jumper living up to his pedigree. Placed in his first
1.45 Grand Prix, super careful and a pleasure to ride, with an
extremely uncomplicated nature. Show-piece for himself and his
father. This horse was jumping well internationally in 150 classes
and progressing further after he was sold to Norway and later to
the USA, where he, unfortunately, died in colic. So far just a
few progeny, but they look very promising jumping and all have
inherited his easy uncomplicated nature. A stallion well worth
using.
The sire Lars Irco G shows exceptional scope, carefulness and boldness with very athletic movements. He jumped his first affilliated classes in February -97, ten double clear rounds in a row (being placed or winning in virtually every class), to the delight of breeder/ owner/rider Ann Gustavii who has now comped the third generation of this stallion line (starting with Irco Marco).
Lars Irco G later jumped with the same ease with
Nelson and Rodrigo Pessoa in Belgium, and has with them a lot of
winnings nationally and internationally during 1998, for
instance:
He won the international 7 year Championship in Arnheim with
Rodrigo Pessoa, after just four days before winning a national 7
year old Championship in Belgium. In Nivelle in August he was well
placed in all starts and finished by winning the National Grand
Prix. The following week he was again double clear and well placed
in the big stallion class in Gesves. Thereafter in Donaushingen
(int.) he was 2nd in the 7year old class.
He qualified for the World Championship for Young Horses in Lanaken end of September. At the same time he jumped for the judges of the stallion grading, and impressed enough to be approved in the Zangersheide Studbook!
Later in the year, (his second year competing), he has jumped several double clears in 1.45 Grand Prix and being placed, including the International show in Mechelen in December, where he was placed every day of the 5 days he competed.
He started 1999 with the Sunshine tour in Spain, having several
respectable placings, including in two Grand Prix. In May he
went to Italy and won the International Grand Prix of Monza, gained
some more placings, and was also 5th in the International Grand
Prix of Cinzano.
Since then he had a long rest due to an abcess in his foot turning wrong, and did not return to competetive jumping until end of 2000. He started out with being 5th in Hickstead 1,40 and 6th in the International 1,45 at Horse of the Year Show in end of September, then being selected to jump for Canada during the International Winter shows in Europe.
Sadly, he had a short competition career with Monica Campbell, as unfortunately he was kicked by another horse so badly, that his front leg was broken, and he had to be destroyed on the 6th April 2001.
The grand sire Irco Mena, international jumper, ridden first by his owner/breeder Ann Gustavii, and later by Royne Zetterman, represented on several occasions his country in Nations Cup, including WEG in Hague, where they were individual 22nd. Irco Mena were also on the Nations Cup team in Luzern 1994, together with his full sister Marcoville, when Sweden for the first time won the Nations Cup for 45 years. The second time the two horses were together, they repeated the victory. Marcoville, ridden by Maria Gretzer, a well known international jumper, was also 6th individual in the Olympic Games in Barcelona. Irco Mena’s other full sister Mirca, combined brood-mare duties with jumping internationally under the Belgian rider Evelyn Blaton in WC and International Grand Prix. Irco Mena is leading Young Horse sire since1995 in Sweden.
In 1998 he is the first stallion ever to have 4 offspring in World Championships for Young Horses in Lanaken representing Swedish breeding (of 16 in total). Irco Mena also is the highest rated stallion in Sweden, 32% winning progeny per covered mare!
Irco Mena’s sire Irco Marco, himself a well known international jumper, has been leading sire in Sweden for many years, and is also the sire of several other international jumpers, including Chouman, 5th in WEG in Hague with Nelson Pessoa and Feliciano, ridden by Maria Gretzer. Irco Marco’s sire Irco Polo also jumped internationally under Paul Weier.
Irco Mena’s dam Ballymena Park was sister to Felton, well known international jumper under Buddy Brown, USA. Her sire Menelekxx and maternal sire Battle Burnxx (sire of Boomerang - Eddie Macken) were two world famous Irish thoroughbred sires of international jumpers.
The sire's dam Lars Imp, herself an impressive
jumper, has two full brothers jumping internationally, one for
Ireland and one for Switzerland. This is the same pedigree as
Master Maddox M (Hansueli Sprunger).
Lars Imp's sire Imperiusxx is one of the most well known sires of international jumpers in later years in Ireland, Vivaldi (Nelson Pessoa) and Master Maddox M are examples. Hook (formerly Hatton) now also jumps for Canada in World Cup classes.
G.Grandfather King of Diamonds, himself a successful jumper and one of the best sires of international jumpers in Ireland, as was Highland Flightxx. Special Envoy (Nelson & Rodrigo Pessoa) is another famous horse with the pedigree of King of Diamonds - Highland Flightxx. The grandmother Cinders and great grandmother Julie Anne has also given several international (including Olympic) jumpers.
The dam Chin Chit G, 1981-1998, bay, blaze, white hind feet; by Irco Marco out of Adventuress (unregistered tb) by Chow Chin ChowXX - King of the JungleXX . Full sister to Chouman, who has competed in two World Championships with two different riders, his best results with Nelson Pessoa coming 5th in 1994, in Hague. He has since been competing successfully for Denise Cojuangco of the Philippines, including competing in the Atlanta Olympic Games in 1996. Chin Chit herself has competed nationally, and showed the same extravagant ability as her full brother. Their mother Adventuress was reputed to be "one of the best jumpers ever to leave Ireland", and competed up to national S class in Sweden before retiring to stud.

He is also very uncomplicated and cool, no problems what so ever!!
Extremely easy at shows, the dream of a horse to work with!
He has unfortunately not many progeny, but what we have seen
they are showing his uncomplicated nature and effortless
jump.
Fantastic semen quality, freezes extremely well (like his grandfather Irco Mena)! With his dominating jumping blood and a really beautiful conformation and type, he must be interesting to use on almost any mare! He is such a good model of a horse, and has such an uncomplicated temperament, I think he will turn out a fantastic sire!
